Why we love them!
We are so proud to announce that we are members of SKYLIGHT's 2021 Epic Vendor list! Each event we have helped produce in this space has been so special to us and we cannot wait for more!
Skylight offers a beautiful white space that can either be used as a clean slate or a crisp modern backdrop. Sunlight fills the space from the large front windows as well as the central skylight creating a bright and airy environment. The venue is located in the Santa Fe Art District giving it a Downtown feel that is further played up but the industrial elements in the reception space.
Aside from the gorgeous industrial aesthetic, SKYLIGHT's planning team is truly wonderful. They make the process of event production straightforward and flexible for everybody involved. We value their clear and quick communication, but more than anything, we love their enthusiasm for events!
More About The Space!
The main event space is one large room which allows for you to get creative when planning how you will use the room. Depending on whether you plan to hold your ceremony and reception in the same space, you might choose to divide the room into sections or plan for a room flip. One of our favorite events held the ceremony under the skylight with a circular layout while the reception tables were stored behind curtains.
Following the ceremony, we flipped the space from ceremony to reception while guests enjoyed cocktail hour outside. This event included quite a few greenery and floral installation to help add color to the space and create a Mediterranean feel. The tables were grouped near the wall of windows with the band and dancefloor towards the back of the space. Greenery canopies and tall centerpieces on the head table helped to further define the spaces.
The venue provides long wooden banquet tables (see above) which are beautiful, on trend, and can significantly save you money in the rental department if that's the look you love! The space also includes market lights for a festive feel that you don't need to hire a lighting crew for!
For another event, the space was organized with different offerings in each corner of the room. Palettes were a common thread connecting a lounge area, photo booth, bar, and cereal bar. Palettes were even hung from the ceiling to divide the space visually. Trees lined the entrances to guide the guests and projections on the walls gave the space a fun ambiance.
SKYLIGHT is large enough to have all of those amenities as well as a dining area with an epic palette wall! But our favorite part of this wedding? The light saber sendoff to honor their May the 4th wedding date!
