This Sunday is our first wedding of 2019 and it has me thinking back on our first wedding of last year. We celebrated the New Year with an intimate wedding at Beatrice and Woodsley, a gorgeous and unique restaurant on South Broadway in Denver.

Sam and Patrick snuck off before their ceremony to take some absolutely gorgeous photos at Loveland Pass. These two are so sweet together and it certainly shows in their portraits shot by Hazel and Lace. For Sam's bouquet we kept it fresh and light with garden roses, peonies, anemone, ranunculus, and (my favorite) fringed tulips. These crisp white blooms were accented by sage colored eucalyptus greens. navy berries, and wild lysimachia flower. A subtle touch of blush gave this neutral palette a little bit of depth.

For their ceremony, they were married among their closest friends and family. The restaurant is designed to be reminiscent of a whimsical forest with aspen trunks clustered throughout. This offered such a magical setting for them to exchange vows. Their reception immediately followed as they all sat down for dinner and drinks among the "trees" - If you have never been here it is a must see. Plus, their food and their cocktails are amazing! -
